Unidentified armed men abduct woman at gunpoint in IIOJK’s Samba
Jammu: Unidentified armed men abducted a woman at gun point in Samba district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the assailants opened fire on a car near the District Court Complex in Samba and abducted a woman travelling with her family in the vehicle.
The victim’s family said that they were being followed by several vehicles before the attackers fired at their car near the court premises. They said that the armed men forcibly abducted the woman and fled from the scene.
Police told media men that they had taken cognizance of the incident and launched an investigation. Efforts are underway to trace the abductors and ascertain the circumstances surrounding the abduction. Further details are awaited.
