Bodies of three people found in hotel in Doda
Jammu: The bodies of three men were discovered in a hotel room in the Bhadarwah area of Doda district, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased were identified as Mukesh Singh, a resident of Domana, Jammu; Ashutosh Singh Rana, a resident of Bhela, Doda, currently living in Purkhoo, Jammu; and Sunny Choudhary.
SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta, stated that the preliminary inquiry suggests the cause of death as “asphyxiation.”
“There was no response after repeated knocks on the room door. Subsequently, the door was broken open, and police found three individuals unconscious—two lying on the bed and one in the washroom,” he said.
Mehta further added, “Teams of doctors and forensic experts were called to the scene. The doctors declared all three deceased. Initial findings point to asphyxiation caused by a charcoal heater found inside the room.
However, forensic reports are awaited, and investigations are ongoing.”
