Hindutva woman abuses, threatens to kill elderly Muslim man in Delhi’s park

New Delhi: An elderly Muslim man was assaulted, verbally abused and threatened with death by a Hindutva woman and other right-wingers at Delhi’s Central Park, according to viral videos that surfaced.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the footage shows the woman confronting the man and accusing him of using “objectionable language” during an earlier argument. The confrontation later escalated into a physical altercation.
In the video, the woman is heard saying “Hindus are no longer weak” while brandishing a slipper, grabbing the man’s collar, pulling his beard and repeatedly threatening to kill him.
Social media posts suggest that the man was targeted because of his religious identity. However, the exact motive behind the assault remains unclear.
The Delhi Police have not issued any statement on the incident. It is also not clear whether a formal complaint has been lodged or if an investigation has been initiated.
The videos triggered widespread condemnation online, with users urging authorities to investigate and take legal action. One user wrote, “This is the reality of Muslims in India today. Hindutva hate knows no limits. We stand with our oppressed brothers in India!”
Another comment said, “She is pulling the shirt of an elderly Muslim man, bringing a slipper near his face and threatening him. Even if an argument had taken place, can this kind of threat and violence ever be justified?”.
