Youth martyred by Indian army-controlled SOG in Doda

Jammu: The Indian army-controlled Special Operations Group (SOG) personnel martyred a youth during a cordon and search operation in Doda district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth, identified as Aarif Hussain (30), was killed after he intercepted SOG personnel during the operation along the Jaie-Gandoh road in the Bhaderwah area of the district.
During the scuffle, one of the armed SOG personnel opened indiscriminate fire in which Aarif Hussain was killed, while three police personnel were injured in the incident, a police officer said.
During the operation, Indian forces also arrested a religious preacher.
Additional contingents of the Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and police have been deployed in Bhaderwah town, while the Indian forces’ personnel continued search operation in the Jaie area. All roads to the area were blocked, and media personnel were barred from entering, prevention monitoring of the situation.
