West Bengal: Hindutva organization announces to install Shivling inside mosque

Kolkata: A Hindutva organization in Malda district of West Bengal has announced to install a large Shivling near the 14th century Adina Mosque.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the organization has claimed that this mosque has been built on the ruins of the Adinath temple.

The Adinath Pratan Shiv Mandir Committee also recently performed puja near the mosque and announced that a 3.6 feet high and 1.5 ton Shiv Lingam will be brought from Tarkeshwar in Hooghly district and installed near the mosque.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and patron of the temple committee Kajal Goswami said this mosque has been built by demolishing the Adinath temple and we want to install a Shivling inside the mosque.
