Kashmiri youths’ sense of deprivation increasing due to Indian govt’s double standards: Waheed Para

Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party leader and MLA Waheed ur Rehman Para has slammed the Indian government for the ongoing crackdown by Indian forces in the territory and the arrest of thousands of youth after the killing of a policeman by unknown persons.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Waheed ur Rehman Para wrote on “X” that the sympathy shown to the students protesting at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar is nowhere to be seen with the Kashmiri youth.

He said in the last few days, about two and a half thousand Kashmiri youth have been arrested while the cases registered against those protesting at Jantar Mantar have also been withdrawn, but the question arises why such sympathy is not being shown to the youth of Kashmir?

He said such double standards are further alienating the youth of the valley and increasing their sense of deprivation.
