Muslim youth brutally assaulted by Hindutva men in broad daylight in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh
Lucknow: In yet another incident of violence against Muslims in Modi’s India, a Muslim youth was brutally assaulted in broad daylight by a group of Hindutva goons in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh. A video of the attack has gone viral, triggering outrage and calls for action against those responsible.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the victim identified as Ali, was intercepted while riding a bicycle by three men identified as Akhilesh, Vikas Gautam and Rohit Paswan and assaulted with sticks in the Chhatrapal Purwa area of Gonda district.
A video of the assault later went viral on social media. The footage shows Ali being beaten on a roadside while two men are present in the vicinity. Reportedly, the attackers themselves recorded the assault and subsequently circulated the video as a means of displaying dominance.
The footage drew widespread condemnation on social media, with users questioning the apparent brazenness of the attack and demanding action against those responsible.
One user wrote, “This is sheer terrorism. Who gave these people the right to beat someone like this?”
Another user wrote, “The assault was so severe that it was deemed necessary to record a video. Now the question — will this video be considered evidence in the eyes of the law, or just social media content?”
Tagging the concerned police authorities, another user wrote, “The reason strict action is not being taken against these thugs is that such incidents are becoming common.”
