Indian forces continue cordon and search operations across IIOJK districts

Jammu : Indian forces have continued cordon and search operations at several places in different districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to the Kashmir Media Service, Indian forces launched search operations between August 14 and 18 following reports of alleged movement of suspected persons in Udhampur, Reasi, Kathua and Samba districts of the territory.
A massive search operation was launched by the Indian Army and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Talot, Khuban and adjoining areas of Udhampur district after a local resident reportedly spotted two suspects, who allegedly were looking for food, during the intervening night of August 17 and 18.
Earlier, on August 16, Indian forces had launched a joint cordon and search operation in and around the Jophar forest area of Ramnagar in Udhampur district following reports of the movement of two suspected persons.
In the Sidni forest stretches and adjoining areas of Reasi district, intensive searches have been underway since August 14 after locals reportedly spotted three suspects in the area.
Similar joint search operations were also being conducted by Indian forces in villages around Hiranagar in Kathua district following reports of suspicious movement. The operations continued in the areas till the last reports came in.
