World urged to intervene for cessation of Indian brutalities in IIOJK
Srinagar: APHC leader Farida Behanji has sought intervention by the international community, particularly the UN Secretary General, to halt Indian oppression in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and facilitate the peaceful resolution to the longstanding dispute.
Farida Behanji in a statement issued in Srinagar urged India to acknowledge reality, relinquish control over Jammu and Kashmir, and grant fundamental rights to the people.
Despite India’s use of force, she emphasized the Kashmiri people’s steadfast struggle for freedom. The APHC leader
highlighted the escalating atrocities by the Indian military against the Kashmiri population in the occupied territory.
