Bandipora villages await potable water supply for over a decade
Srinagar: Residents in Bandipora district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, have been deprived of potable water supply for over a decade.
According to Kashmir Media Service, despite repeated appeals to authorities and assurances of water supply, the residents, especially in Kanibathi and adjoining villages, remain disconnected from functional water schemes and are forced to rely on natural springs and streams.
The authorities’ promises have not materialized, leaving villagers frustrated. The residents continue to endure water scarcity, highlighting the persistent challenges faced by rural communities in accessing basic amenities in the district.
