Pakistani emigrants, Abdul Hafeez Khan & Salman Khan, honoured with Tamgha-e-Imtiaz
Islamabad: The Government of Pakistan has awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz to expatriate Pakistanis, Abdul Hafeez Khan and Salman Khan, for their important contribution to the Kashmir cause and social services.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Abdul Hafeez Khan lives in the USA, while Salman Khan is settled in South Africa.
Abdul Hafeez Khan was awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US, Sardar Masood Khan, in a ceremony held at the Pakistani Embassy in Washington, whereas Salman Khan received the civilian honour during a function in South Africa.
Abdul Hafeez Khan is a well-known businessman and kind-hearted Pakistani. When Pakistan was hit by unprecedented floods in 2022, he immediately came back to provide help to the affected people. He constructed sixty houses in Mangrotha village of Taunsa district and repaired about 250 structures. The Razak Foundation established by him remains in the forefront to help those in need.
