Forest fire rages in IIOJK’s Kulgam district
Srinagar: A massive forest fire broke out in a forest area in Kulgam district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the fire started this afternoon and spread vast forest area in Nagras village of Qazigund in the district.
An official said that efforts are underway to bring the forest fire under control by using the latest techniques.
Earlier, the IIOJK Disaster Management Authority had warned about extreme fire risk in forest areas in the next seven days.
