Congress dismisses exit polls as ‘bogus’, deliberate attempt to justify rigging
New Delhi: The Congress party has dismissed exit polls as “bogus” and a “deliberate attempt” to justify election rigging, saying they are part of psychological games played by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to demoralize INDIA alliance supporters.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh spoke outside AICC headquarters, criticizing Prime Minister Modi’s meetings, including a long brainstorming session to review the ‘new government’s’ 100-day agenda. Ramesh called these actions “pressure tactics” aimed at signaling to the bureaucracy and administrative structure that Modi is returning to power.
Former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi reacted to exit polls predicting a significant BJP-led NDA win, saying, “This isn’t an exit poll, it’s a Modi media poll.” He believes the INDIA bloc will secure 295 seats.
