Several residential structures damaged in Handwara fire


Srinagar: Several residential structures and two cowsheds were damaged in a fire incident in Handwara area of Kupwara district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, an official told the media that a fire broke out in Handwara last night in which seven residential houses were damaged.

The houses belong to Ghulam Mohammad Malik, Ghulam Nabi Malik, Ali Mohammad Malik, Abdul Salam Sheikh, Mohammad Abdulla Malik, Bashir Ahmad Sheikh and Nazir Ahmad Sheikh, all residents of Yangerhard Wader Zachaldara.

He said that two cowsheds were also damaged in the incident. He added that fire was brought under control by fire tender men and police while the cause of fire is being ascertained.
