BJP undermining democracy in India: Akhilesh Yadav
New Delhi: Akhilesh Yadav, president of the Samajwadi Party and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, has sharply criticized the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for conspiring to weaken democracy in India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Yadav addressed party workers at the party headquarters in New Delhi, stating that the BJP views dismantling the democratic system as its right.
He emphasized that the BJP aims to weaken democracy and urged vigilance and caution against the saffron party’s schemes.
Yadav further asserted that the Samajwadi Party defeated the BJP in the recent Lok Sabha elections and is poised to defeat the BJP again in upcoming by-elections and the 2027 assembly elections.
