Jashn-e-Iqbal 2024 features Hurriyat leaders as honored guests
Lahore: The Youth Empowerment Society (YES), a non-profit organization dedicated to youth capacity building and promoting patriotic culture, organized Jashn-e-Iqbal 2024, featuring Hurriyat leaders as honoured guests.
According to Kashmir Media Service, this three-day mega event, took place at Al-Hamra Arts Council in Lahore, aimed to reconnect the youth of Pakistan with the philosophy and ideology of Allama Iqbal, a celebrated poet-philosopher and cultural icon.
Jashn-e-Iqbal has a storied history of success, with its previous editions in 2018 and 2019 earning acclaim as Pakistan’s largest edu-infotainment programs. This year’s event will feature over 70 exclusive sessions and host 200+ guests, including prominent figures from diverse fields.
More than 100,000 attendees are expected, with additional millions reached through digital and television platforms. The program’s pre-event campaign has already engaged 10,000 students from 60+ academic institutions, fostering a deep connection with Iqbal’s enduring philosophy.
Among others prominent figures from Hurriyat leadership such as Gulam Muhammad Safi, Convener of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference-AJK (APHC-AJK) chapter and Shamim Shawl, a noted Hurriyat leader attended the event.
