CPI leader predicts BJP’s massive defeat in IIOJK polls over Art 370 abrogation

Hyderabad: The Communist Party of India (CPI) leader, Doraisamy Raja has voiced criticism against the Modi government’s decision to abrogate Article 370, citing widespread anger and discontent among the people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to Kashmir Media Service, speaking at the CPI state conference in Hanamkonda, Telangana, the party General Secretary Doraisamy Raja highlighted the growing dissatisfaction in IIOJK over the abrogation of Article 370, which granted special status to the territory. He warned that the BJP could face significant electoral setbacks in the upcoming assembly elections in IIOJK as a result of this discontent.

Raja condemned both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), saying that they are undermining public interests through their policies. He argued that the BJP government is heavily influenced by RSS ideologies, which he believes are detrimental to the principles of democracy and secularism.
