Srinagar:Political analysts have come out in support of the Kashmiri people’s struggle for freedom, terming it a just and legitimate movement.
According to Kashmir Media Service, in a media interview in Srinagar, the analysts said, “The people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir are engaged in a struggle for the exercise of their UN-pledged right to self-determination.”
Prof. Noor Shah, name changed, a political analyst, stated, “The Kashmiris’ freedom movement has been accepted as a just struggle at the global level, and international law gives them the right to struggle for freedom from Indian bondage.”
Dr. Wahid Atif, another analyst with changed name, noted that the UNSC resolutions have legitimized the Kashmiri people’s struggle to achieve their right to self-determination. “The Kashmir movement is a legitimate struggle for the realization of Kashmiris’ right to self-determination, reflecting the sentiments of the general populace of IIOJK.”
The analysts emphasized that the Kashmiris’ struggle will continue till the implementation of UN resolutions. “India is striving to equate Kashmiris’ freedom struggle with terrorism through false flag operations and concerted propaganda, but Modi must remember that people struggling for freedom can’t be linked to terrorism,” said Prof. Noor Shah.
Dr. Zubair Ahmad said, “The Modi regime can’t suppress the Kashmiris’ just struggle by resorting to violent repression in IIOJK. The world must support the IIOJK people’s struggle for freedom and self-determination.”
