India’s NIA conducts searches at 26 locations in IIOJK, India
Jammu: The Indian infamous National Investigation Agency (NIA) has conducted searches at 26 locations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and India and arrested one person and questioned several ‘suspects’.
According to Kashmir Media Service, an official statement said that Sheikh Sultan Salah Uddin Ayubi alias Ayubi was taken into custody after searches at 26 locations in Assam, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and occupied Jammu and Kashmir,.
The accused will be produced before the NIA special court, Patiala House, New Delhi, the statement added.
The NIA conducted searches at multiple locations in Baramulla district. It raided the house of Molvi Mohammad Iqbal Butt at Sangri Colony, Baramulla, and confiscated some documents during the raid.
The NIA also raided the house of Farooq Ahmad Wani at Reshi Pora in Tangmarg who was affiliated with banned Jamaat-e-Islami.
In addition, several other “suspects” have also been rounded up for questioning, the NIA said.
The premises searched by the NIA were located in Goalpara (Assam), Aurangabad, Jalna and Malegaon in Maharashtra, Meerut and Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Baramulla, Pulwama and Ramban in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
