Two Indian paramilitary constables commit suicide
Guwahati: Two Indian paramilitary forces constables have committed suicide in two different states of India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, an Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) head constable, identified as Jadhav Atul Hari, committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle at 175 Battalion camp in Rani on the outskirts of Guwahati in disturbed Assam state.
The deceased, Jadhav Atul Hari, was found in his quarters, lying in a pool of blood with his rifle by his side. He had reportedly shot himself in the head, though the reasons for his drastic action remain unclear at this time, the Indian military officials report claimed.
In another incident, a Central Industrial Security Force ( CISF) constable, identified as 24-year-old Akash Kumar, was found hanging from a ceiling fan at Layakdih camp in Dhanbad district of violence-hit Jharkhand state.
He was taken to a nearby health centre where a doctor declared him dead,” Chirkunda police station officer in charge Ramji Ray said.
The reason behind the suspected suicide is yet to be ascertained as he did not leave behind any note, the officer said.
