Light snowfall in higher reaches of IIOJK on Oct 16-17: MeT
Srinagar: The Meteorological Centre in Srinagar has said that higher reaches of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir are likely to receive light snowfall between October 16-17.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Meteorological Centre also predicted dry weather until October 15. “From October 11-15, the weather conditions are likely to remain dry,” a MeT official said.
He added that from October 16-17, the territory will experience generally cloudy weather with light rain (and light snow in a few higher reaches), along with thunder at scattered places in Kashmir valley and isolated places in the Jammu division.
From October 18-19, there is a possibility of partly to generally cloudy weather, with a chance of very light rain at isolated places in the Kashmir division.
