Three Dalit boys thrashed, paraded in UP
Lucknow: Three young Dalit boys were mercilessly thrashed and paraded with their faces blackened in Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled Uttar Pradesh state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the two poultry farm owners mercilessly tortured and humiliated three Dalit boys aged 12-14 years and paraded with their faces blackened on false suspicion of committing a theft in Tajpur Tedia area of Bahraich district.
The victims’ families said the poultry owners tortured the boys as they did not report to the poultry farm for work.
The accused, while thrashing the three young boys, shaved their heads, blackened their faces, wrote ‘thief’ on their forearms and paraded them around the village with their hands tied, media reports quoted the police as claiming.
