Nursing student from Ganderbal found dead in Chandigarh
Chandigarh: A youth from Ganderbal, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, died under mysterious circumstances in Chandigarh, Punjab, triggering panic among the family members.
According to Kashmir Media Service, an official confirming the incident to the media said that the boy Salik Butt, a resident of Bhatpara Safapora, was found unconscious at his hostel of a private university in Chandigarh.
After this, the boy, who was pursuing B.Sc. in Nursing was rushed to the hospital, however, he was declared dead at the hospital.
The official confirmed that his family members received a call after which they left for Chandigarh from the central Kashmir district.
“They will reach there by tomorrow morning and after completion of formalities the body will be handed over to the legal heirs for final rites” the official said.
The cause of the death is not known yet. Only after the completion of medico-legal formalities, the reason for the death can be ascertained.
