Differently-abled man found dead on Bengaluru-Murudeshwar train coach
Mangaluru: A man was found dead inside the coach of a train bound for Murudeshwar from Bengaluru.
According to Kashmir Media Service, police said Mouzzan was differently-abled and boarded a train from Yesvantpur to Murudeshwar on October 24. The incident came to light, when a railway guard found Mouzzan unconscious in the Divyang Coach on the morning of October 25
The railway police rushed him to the hospital, but the doctors declared him dead. As there were no documents to ascertain his identification, the police had put up a label, ‘RS Tailor Chickpete’, that was on his shirt collar, and was shared on WhatsApp groups, which in turn helped to contact his family.
The family reached Mulki on Saturday.
The police had noticed ligature marks around the neck of the deceased. His family members reported missing items, including his bag and mobile phone. The last tower location of his phone was identified near Sakleshpur. The police suspect that he might have been murdered for gain. The police have intensified investigation and are carrying out searches in Mysuru and Bengaluru.
A case has been registered at the Mulki station. The deceased is Mouzzan (35) from Kumbarpete, Doddaballapur and was working as a sales representative.
