The APHC highlighted that despite 77 years of occupation, the Kashmiri people remain resolute in their struggle for freedom, even as India attempts to alter IIOJK’s demographic composition to manipulate future plebiscite outcomes. The APHC condemned such actions as collective punishment for Kashmiris asserting their legitimate and internationally recognized rights.

Calling on the international community to act, the APHC reiterated that lasting peace in South Asia depends on a resolution reflecting the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. It urged the United Nations to implement its resolutions on Kashmir, pressuring India to honor its commitments and end its oppressive policies in the region.
