Eigh tribals killed by Indian forces in Bijapur
Bijapur: The Indian forces killed eight tribals in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the forces’ personnel killed the tribals during a cordon and search operation in the forest that comes under the jurisdiction of Gangaloor police station.
A senior police official confirmed the incident and stated that the operation is still underway, with further details awaited.
It should be noted that Maoist guerrillas have been fighting for independence from Indian rule for a long time.
