Widespread rallies, public gatherings held across Gilgit-Baltistan today
Gilgit: Widespread rallies and public gatherings were held Gilgit-Baltistan today to show solidarity with Kashmiris.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Governor GB, CM GB, and various ministers, including Minister Tourism & Food GB, Minister Information GB, and Minister Women & Development GB, through video messages and social media postsexpressed their solidarity with the Kashmiri people .
President PML-N GB, President PML-N Gilgit Division, and other prominent political leaders have also called for an end to Indian atrocities in Kashmir.
Rallies and public gatherings were held in Gilgit, Ghizer, Nagar, Hunza, Skardu, and Astore. The events wer organized by government institutions, civil society organizations, and educational institutions.
In Gilgit, a massive rally was organized by the government, civil administration, and civil society, which started from Behanzeer Chowk and ended at Ittihad Chowk. Similar rallies were held in other districts, including Ghizer, Nagar, and Hunza.
In Skardu, a large rally was organized by civil society and civil administration, which was attended by hundreds of people. Rallies were also held in Ghanche, Tangir, Darel, and Astore.
A social media campaign is also underway, with people using hashtags like (#KashmirWillBecomePakistan to express their solidarity with the Kashmiri people.
Banners have been installed at important buildings and places across Gilgit-Baltistan to show solidarity with Kashmiris.
