Drenched in blood & economic ruin, ‘Gujarat Model’ exposed as myth
Ahmedabad: Gujarat, notorious for the 2002 anti-Muslim pogrom under the-then Narendra Modi state government, remains a battleground of anti-Muslim violence, hatred, caste oppression and economic devastation, where minorities and marginalized communities continue to suffer under the BJP’s communal rule.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the state still witnesses relentless attacks on Muslims through lynchings, Islamophobia and targeted violence.
Meanwhile, Dalits, OBCs, and Tribals—comprising 34% of Gujarat’s population—face brutal discrimination and economic exclusion.
Farmers in Kutch and Saurashtra are losing their lands to corporate-backed acquisitions. Unemployment is soaring as the BJP prioritizes corporate interests over the livelihoods of common citizens.
Gujarat’s urban centers, including Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Khambhat, remain hotbeds of communal violence, with Hindutva mobs operating freely under BJP’s protection. The so-called “Gujarat Model” is exposed as a myth, with collapsing infrastructure, deepening inequality and an unchecked rise in religious and caste-based violence.
The BJP’s divide-and-rule policy ensures unrelenting anti-Muslim violence and caste clashes, keeping the state in turmoil while its people struggle with inflation, joblessness, and resource deprivation.
