Modi’s ‘good days’ promises were just a lie, says Jairam Ramesh

New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has strongly criticized the Modi government.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Jairam Ramesh, citing the latest report of the Reserve Bank of India, said the country’s economy has deteriorated and the people are burdened by inflation, unemployment and debt.

He wrote on “X” that in the last eleven years, the Modi government has not done many things or made any policies that would benefit the common citizen, rather all the decisions were taken only to benefit the capitalists and friends.

He wrote, “The truth is emerging every day in some form or the other that the promises of ‘good days’ were nothing but a lie. He said the debt burden on the country has now reached an unbearable level.

Jairam Ramesh said the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) report shows that the average debt per citizen has increased by Rs 90,000 to Rs 8.4 lakh.
