Karra urges Indian govt to restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir
Jammu: The President of Indian National Congress chapter in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tariq Hameed Karra, has urged the Indian government to restore the statehood to Jammu and Kashmir without any further delay.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Tariq Hameed Karra addressing a party function in Jammu said Congress Party is an instrument of service to the people, which has remained dedicated to the cause of serving the people.
He said the Congress party is duty bound to address the aspirations of the people. He said the Congress party believes in strengthening the people and is committed to equitable development of the territory.
He described Bharatiya Janata Party dispensation as anti-poor, anti youth, anti-Kissan and due to its wrong policies the sufferings of the people increased manifold.
