Indian forces launch operation in remote areas of Poonch district
Jammu: Indian forces’ personnel launched a cordon and search operation in Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the operation was launched by Indian army along with police and paramilitary forces in all villages and areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in the district.
In the wee hours of Wednesday morning, Indian army claimed that a group of militants were seen in a remote village. Indian army claimed that an exchange of fire took place which was going on.
Indian army’s White Knight Corps wrote in a post on X, “Suspected movement of two individuals was observed by troops in an area of Poonch Sector. Gunfire exchanged. Operation under progress.”
