‘No Gross Human Rights Violations,’ ‘Stop Genocide in Kashmir’
Posters with senior pictures of Hurriyat leaders again appear in IIOJK

Srinagar: Posters have once again appeared in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, urging people to observe August 5, Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir, as Black Day.
According to Kashmir Media Service, posters bearing pictures of illegally detained All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders Masarrat Alam Butt, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Muhammad Yasin Malik, and Aasiya Andrabi have appeared in Srinagar and other parts of the territory, rejecting the illegal and unilateral Indian actions of August 5, 2019.
The posters, displayed by APHC and several other Hurriyat parties, read: “No Gross Human Rights Violations,” “Stop Genocide in Kashmir,” “Release Political Prisoners,” “Resolve Kashmir Dispute as per UN Resolutions,” “People Will Never Forget Humiliation,” and “India Downgraded Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.”
The posters said the people of Jammu and Kashmir are demanding reversal of the actions of August 5, 2019—including the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A—settlement of the Kashmir dispute as per United Nations resolutions, release of all political detainees, and an end to human rights violations by Indian troops in IIOJK.
The posters have also been widely circulated on social media, including Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp groups.
