New Delhi-controlled SIA arrests Kashmiri civilian in Shopian

Srinagar: The New Delhi-controlled State Investigation Agency (SIA) has arrested a Kashmiri civilian in Shopian district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the detainee has been identified as Altaf Hussain Wagay, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Wagay. He was taken into custody during a raid at his residence in Reban Gund, Behram area of the district.
In order to justify the arrest, authorities claimed that Altaf was an Over Ground Worker (OGW) of mujahideen and involved in anti-India activities.
Kashmir watchers note that such labels are routinely used by the occupation authorities as a pretext to harass, detain and silence Kashmiris. Thousands of Kashmiris are already languishing in various jails of IIOJK and India.
