Indian troops launch cordon and search operation in Poonch

Srinagar: Indian troops have launched a large-scale cordon and search operation (CASO) in Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian forces’ personnel launched the search operation in the Mendhar sector of the district.

Reports said that joint teams of the Special Operations Group (SOG) from Mendhar, Mankote, and Gursai launched the operation, sealing off several localities to carry out thorough searches.

Searches were continuing in the area till last reports came in.
