Mirwaiz leads funeral of late Sheikh Ghulam Muhammad’s wife in Srinagar

Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed profound grief over the passing away of the wife of late Khwaja Sheikh Ghulam Muhammad of Hawal, Srinagar, a respected businessman.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq led the funeral prayers of the deceased at the historic Central Jamia Masjid Srinagar. The funeral was attended by a large gathering of people, including members of the business fraternity, relatives, and residents of the locality.
On the occasion, Mirwaiz prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. He also extended heartfelt condolences to her sons—Sheikh Feroz Ahmad, Sheikh Zafar Ahmad, Sheikh Zahoor Ahmad, and Sheikh Muhammad Saeed—assuring them of his full sympathy and support in this hour of grief.
Mirwaiz recalled that late Sheikh Ghulam Muhammad and his sons have always shared a deep and unbreakable bond with the pulpit of Jamia Masjid Srinagar, and their association with the institution remains a source of strength for the community.
