BJP govt’s attitude towards IIOJK extremely irresponsible: Congress
Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Congress has said that the attitude of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Indian government towards the occupied territory is extremely irresponsible.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Tariq Hameed Karra, President of Congress, occupied Jammu and Kashmir chapter, while addressing the party convention in Lolab area of Kupwara district today, severely criticized the Indian government and said that the rights of Kashmiris are being usurped and the restoration of statehood is being unnecessarily delayed.
He said that to emphasize the demand of restoration of statehood by the Congress, a protest march will be held under the banner of “Our State, Our Right”, which will end at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.
All India Congress Committee General Secretary Ghulam Ahmed Mir said that people in Jammu and Kashmir are facing tax terrorism, GST, toll tax and in return they are getting unemployment and inflation.
