Pakistan reaffirms commitment to support Kashmiris
India’s irresponsible behavior now extends to the sports arena: Attaullah Tarar
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to providing continued political, diplomatic, and moral support for the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir, stressing that Pakistan remains resolute in seeking a solution to the Kashmir dispute in line with United Nations resolutions.
According to Kashmir Media Service, speaking at a ceremony organized by the Institute of Regional Studies, Tarar highlighted how Pakistan had successfully exposed India’s misleading propaganda regarding the Pahalgam false flag operation, offering a strong and resolute response to India’s unjustified aggression. He noted that India, in the face of Pakistan’s determined reply, had requested a ceasefire. In the subsequent four-day conflict, he added, Pakistan emerged victorious, writing a new chapter of success, while the Modi government and the Hindutva ideology suffered a crushing defeat. He underscored that India is an occupying force attempting to portray itself as a victim.
Tarar also pointed out that the true nature of incidents like the Pahalgam operation has now been fully exposed to the world. He further stressed that India’s irresponsible behavior has now even extended into the realm of sports. After its military setbacks, India is now resorting to cheap tactics in sports to further its agenda. He made it clear that Pakistan has always played a constructive role in fostering sustainable peace in the region, and India, which repeatedly flouts international norms, cannot claim to be a victim.
In conclusion, Attaullah Tarar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peaceful coexistence and reaffirmed that Pakistan has consistently played a pivotal role in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
