Pakistan's Support to Kashmir

‘Story of Pakistan incomplete without Kashmir’, says CDF Asim Munir

Rawalpindi: Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of the Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that the “story of Pakistan is incomplete without Kashmir”.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said this while addressing a ceremony held at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Sunday to mark one year since Pakistan’s victory in last year’s conflict with India.

Referring to the people of Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, he said the “story of Pakistan is incomplete without Kashmir”. He stressed that resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with United Nations resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people was essential to end what he described as “India’s reign of state brutality and violence”.

“The ground realities of India-occupied Kashmir cannot be changed through demographic or social re-engineering,” he said.

“We will continue raising our voice for the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination at every forum and continue extending political, diplomatic and moral support to the Kashmiri people,” he added.
