Counter Intelligence Wing conducts widespread raids across IIOJK districts
Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the Counter Intelligence Wing of Indian police has launched a series of search operations across multiple districts, intensifying pressure on the local population.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the raids are being carried out in the districts of Srinagar, Baramulla, Kupwara, Islamabad, Pulwama, and Shopian.
To justify the operations legally, the occupation authorities claimed the searches were being conducted under warrants issued by a “competent court” in connection with a “militancy-related” case. However, such justifications are frequently used as a pretext for broader crackdowns aimed at suppressing dissent and intimidating and silencing the Kashmiris.
