Body of second missing Indian commando recovered in IIOJK
Srinagar: The body of a second Indian commando, who had gone missing during an operation in the dense Gadole forest area of Kokernag, Islamabad, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, has also been recovered.
According to Kashmir Media Service, officials said the recovery comes a day after the body of another commando from the Army’s 7 Para (Special Forces) unit was retrieved from the same forested zone.
Both commandos had gone missing during an operation. The incident reportedly occurred when the team of commandos, operating under adverse weather conditions, was hit by a sudden snowstorm. Following the incident, contact was lost with two personnel.
