Karra flags off vehicle carrying ‘Vote Chori’ signatures to Delhi

Jammu: Congress IIOJK chapter president Tariq Hameed Karra has flagged off a vehicle from party headquarters in Jammu carrying over two lakh signatures collected across Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir against “Vote Chori”, as part of a campaign led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the campaign aims to protest electoral malpractices, irregularities in voter lists, and demand a free, fair, and transparent election process. The signatures will be submitted to the President of India through the All India Congress Committee (AICC).
Addressing the gathering, Karra stressed the importance of protecting democratic institutions and warned against manipulation of electoral processes. He lauded the dedication of party workers who collected signatures despite adverse weather and challenging conditions, calling for vigilance to safeguard citizens’ voting rights.
A team from Congress Seva Dal, led by Chairman Vijay Sharma, has been entrusted with delivering the collected signatures to the AICC in New Delhi.
