Two SPOs sacked in Jammu over alleged sentiment with right to self determination
Jammu: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) regime has dismissed two Kashmiri Special Police Officers (SPOs), Abdul Lateef and Mohammad Abbas, from service for alleged links with pro-freedom parties in Kathua district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, officials claimed that the SPOs, Abdul Lateef and Mohammad Abbas, had been previously arrested for reportedly aiding and providing support to ‘militants’ in the territory.
Abdul Lateef is currently lodged in Doda Jail, Jammu, while Mohammad Abbas is facing four separate FIRs for his alleged involvement in ‘militancy’-related activities.
