State terrorism intensifies in central, tribal areas of India
New Delhi: State terrorism has intensified in the central and tribal areas of India as Indian forces have started a systematic plan to massacre innocent tribal men, women and children in fake encounters in the name of counter-Naxalism.
According to Kashmir Media Service, behind these fake operations of Indian forces, there is actually a deep conspiracy to seize land, dominate mineral resources and protect corporate interests.
The hands of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah are stained with the blood of tribals and they are directly responsible for these extrajudicial killings, forced evictions and ethnic exploitation of tribals.
Under the banner of counter-Naxalism, the Indian government has launched a state-sponsored campaign of killing and destroying tribals. Indian forces are systematically killing poor villagers, farmers and tribals, defending their ancestral lands, to create an atmosphere of fear and terror in the region. Instead of addressing the grievances of the tribal people regarding land ownership rights, job security, health facilities and fair mineral policies, the Modi government has opted for the use of military force.
The Modi government is resolving the problems of the tribal people through guns instead of dialogue. As a result of militancy in central India, human rights violations, forced migrations, destruction of villages and the corporate sector’s capture of mineral resources are increasing.
The Indian government has promised reforms in the tribal areas for years but these promises have always proved to be a lie. Counter-Naxal operations have now become another name for state repression, massacre and political revenge, not for reforms or peace. More than 200 Naxal rebels have been killed in fake encounters this year, a systematic government plan to crush tribal resistance, suppress dissent and maintain India’s democratic mask at the global level.
In fact, India’s real face under the guise of democracy is that of an oppressive state stained with the blood of tribals. Counter-Naxalism has now become a bloody game aimed at genocide of tribals and suppression of their voice.
This oppressive act of the Modi government should be exposed before the world conscience so that the so-called democratic face of India can be exposed. The Indian government is hiding the massacre of tribals under the guise of counter-Naxalism.
The international community should raise its voice to save the oppressed tribals from the cruelty and barbarity of the Modi government.
