IED destroyed in controlled blast damages house in Rajouri

Jammu: In a glaring display of Indian forces’ inefficiency, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) destroyed during a controlled explosion in the Upper Bangai area of Thanamandi in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir damaged a residential house.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the IED was detected by a police patrol near the home of a local, Mohammad Akbar. A bomb disposal squad was rushed to the spot, and to detonate the device.

The controlled blast damaged the house, though no loss of life or injury was reported.

Local residents said such incidents have created an atmosphere of fear in the area, already reeling under intensified raids, searches, and surveillance by Indian forces across the occupied territory.
