Mirwaiz, Moosvi express profound grief over deaths of 45 Indian Umrah pilgrims
Srinagar: Senior leaders of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi have express profound grief and heartfelt condolences over the tragic accident near Mufrihat in Saudi Arabia, in which at least 45 Umrah pilgrims from Telangana, India, lost their lives and several others sustained injuries.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on X said that he was deeply saddened to hear this heartbreaking news. This accident is a cause of great sorrow and grief.
He said that the pilgrims who had set out to visit the House of Allah with sincerity of intention, met their Lord in a state of worship, but the sorrow and pain of their families knows no bounds.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to grant patience to all the affected families, shower mercy on the deceased and grant complete healing to the injured.
Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi in his statement in Srinagar also express grief and heartfelt condolences over the tragic accident and said this heartbreaking incident has left the entire community shocked and deeply saddened.
He said losing so many precious lives while on the sacred journey of Umrah is an immeasurable tragedy and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable losses.
