Indian police attach another civilian property in IIOJK

Jammu: Indian police, under the supervision of LG Manoj Sinha, have attached the house of a resident in Udhampur district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the police seized the residential property of Tariq Hussain on the orders of the administration, citing a black law, NDPS Act. The property is valued at Rs 70 lakh. Locals said the BJP regime regularly attaches properties of Kashmiris under fabricated charges to continue its policy of terror and intimidation in the occupied territory.

Since the abrogation of occupied Jammu and Kashmir’s special status in August 2019, the BJP-led Hindutva regime has intensified efforts to evict Kashmiris from their homes and lands on one pretext or another. The move is widely seen as aimed at harassing and economically weakening the oppressed people of occupied Kashmir. So far this year, the regime has confiscated more than a hundred properties belonging to Kashmiris.
