10 marla land announced for Kuldeep who gave 5 marla plot to journalist Arfaz Ahmed
Srinagar: Muhammad Iqbal Shah of Shopian, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, has announced to gift 10 marla land to Kuldeep Kumar, who offered a 5 marla plot to Kashmiri journalist Arfaz Ahmed.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Muhammad Iqbal Shah will go to Jammu next week and personally present the original land documents to Kuldeep Kumar.
The occupying authorities had recently demolished the house of journalist Arfaz Ahmed in Narwal area of Jammu, after which Kuldeep Kumar had announced to donate 5 marla land to help the displaced journalist.
This extraordinary move not only won the hearts of the Kashmiri people, but Muhammad Iqbal Shah, a well-known businessman from Kapran area of Shopian district, praising Kuldeep Kumar’s spirit, has announced to give him 10 marla land in exchange for 5 marla.
Talking to reporters, Muhammad Iqbal confirmed that he will go to Jammu next week to present the original papers of ten marla land to Kuldeep Kumar. He said this step of his is an attempt to strengthen the common civilization of Hindu-Muslim brotherhood and Kashmiriyat.
He said the land he is offering is a valuable land with apple trees and he is offering it in the name of Kuldeep Kumar.
Muhammad Iqbal Shah said that despite being a non-Muslim, Kuldeep Kumar came forward to help a Muslim brother. “As a Muslim, it is my duty to respond positively to his passion, so I am offering this ten marla land to him.” He said this is an effective response to all the elements spreading hatred in the name of religion.
He expressed the hope that this humanitarian initiative will further strengthen Hindu-Muslim brotherhood and spread the message of love, peace and solidarity in the society.
