Indian police arrest Shakil Bakhshi in Srinagar
Srinagar: Indian police have arrested Shakil Ahmed Bakhshi, the leader of the Islamic Students League, in Srinagar district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir
According to Kashmir Media Service, the arrest was made after police raided Shakil Bakhshi’s house in Ghausia Colony, Bemina, and took him into custody in connection with a decade-old case.
In a separate incident, the police also arrested two Srinagar residents, Owais Muneer Khan and Feroz Ahmed Nengroo, in Ganderbal district. They were arrested for flying a drone in a designated “no-fly zone” during this year’s Amarnath Yatra.
