Indian forces continue cordon and search operations in IIOJK

Srinagar: Indian forces continued cordon and search operations and frisking of local people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian forces conducted extensive search operations and comprehensive vehicle-checking along the Srinagar-Jammu Highway in the Bijbehara, Donipora Sangam, and Qazigund areas of Islamabad and Kulgam districts.

The forces have placed the territory on high alert and deployed K9 dog squads during these operations, targeting Kashmiris who are demanding a plebiscite in accordance with the United Nations resolutions.

Meanwhile, the Indian Army, CRPF, and Special Operations Group also launched massive cordon and search operations and intensified frisking and surveillance along the routes leading to the tri-junction areas of Rajouri, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, and Doda districts.

Multiple checkpoints have been established to restrict movement and monitor any activities across these districts.
