Hindutva extremists assault another Kashmiri shawl seller in Himachal Pradesh

Kangra: Hindutva extremists brutally assaulted another Kashmiri shawl-seller, Jehangir Ahmad, in Dehra, Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the attackers verbally abused him, threatened him, and vandalized his belongings, demanding he leave the state immediately.

Jehangir Ahmad, who has been selling shawls peacefully in the area for 15 years, sustained fractures and multiple injuries and is currently hospitalized.

The incident has sparked outrage, with leaders from Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, calling for strict action against the culprits.

The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association has also urged the authorities to ensure safety for Kashmiri traders and students facing similar threats across India. KMS—13A
